What should have been the highlight of the season became a great disappointment. We were targetting a good result in the Nederlandse Tour with Gerard Oosterhof in topform.
His offday in the prologue was the start of all the misery that included a total of 4 off days and a bad crash in the 6 stages leaving him far away from where we hoped he could end.
His chance to take revanche in Novosibirsk ended also with an offday. His topform period was cursed and a waste of time which will not motivate to try to go for another topform period in the forseeable future.
Luckily Michiel Pruijsers saved the Tour a bit with a great 3rd place in the hilly stage and 9th place overall which made Pruijsers finish his very good season in style.

You were very unlucky. Oosterhof was one of the main contenders for the Youth jersey in my opinion.
The curse of topform indeed my friend! Luckily Pruijsers come through for you, better luck next season, at least I wont participate then :P not that Gijp did so good lol
